Work Hours:

Full-time seasonal position starting immediately through April 2022. 5 days a week, 8 hour shifts with possible overtime in peak periods. Seasonal starting immediately through April 2022. Weekend work required.
 

Wage:

$16.00 – $20.00

Job Description

Tasked with ensuring the main clubhouse, outbuildings and property are maintained and kept clean and free of safety hazards as well as providing general assistance when/where required.

What will you be doing?

·         performing minor carpentry

·         building maintenance including minor repairs, painting and cleaning

·         snow removal, salting, sanding and ensuring safe access to clubhouse, outbuildings and general property

·         operating equipment such as snow blower and UTV

·         set up and tear down of club events

·         reporting of unusual problems or hazardous conditions

·         maintaining and caring for tools

·         performing daily checks, inspections and monitoring conditions

·         communicating with multiple departments

·         maintaining communication with coworkers and supervisor

Customer service expectation:  Facility maintenance personnel will have direct customer contact.  It is therefore of utmost importance that the facility maintenance personnel be friendly, courteous and professional in accordance with Alpine’s commitment to providing superior customer service.

Physical/mental demands:  This position works primarily indoors and requires prolonged periods of standing and walking.  There are times you will be outdoors on slippery and/or uneven snow or icy surfaces.  Team members must always remain alert and attentive.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and use hands to grasp, twist, push and climb.

Work environment:  This position involves working indoors and being on your feet for most of your scheduled shift.  There will be some time spent outside in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, on varied snow surfaces.  Varying weather conditions mean that some days are extremely busy while other days are slower.
