Job Title: Shop Hand
Work Hours: 8-5 Monday through Friday
Wage: To Be Determined
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
Location: Collingwood, ON
Job Description Blue Mountain Chrysler is seeking a Service Shop Hand to join its team for a busy automotive dealership. The primary responsibilities of this position includes the shop cleaning and maintenance, shuttle driving, parts delivery and preparing drive thru vehicles for the technicians. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated, mechanically inclined individual with a positive attitude.

Duties include:

  • Completing all necessary shop and drive thru maintenance and cleaning as instructed and specified on checklists
  • Drive shuttle vehicle as required
  • Assisting service advisors, technicians and apprentices as required
  • Run diagnostic testing on all service drive thru vehicles and provide report to service advisors for explanation
  • Vacuum customer vehicles while on diagnostic machines
  • Assisting service advisors, technicians and apprentices as required
  • Assisting with tire storage, pulling and storing tires in an organized fashion
  • Maintaining a clean work space
  • Be able to multi task
  • Other tasks as assigned
