Work Hours: | 35 hours/week – 6 month contract with potential for extension | ||
Wage: | $23 hourly to start: extended health benefits available after probationary period | ||

Job Description |
· To support Clients from assessment through to employment by providing ongoing assistance and follow up to monitor progress by linking clients with appropriate community and employment supports, providing job coaching and training opportunities.
· Support and case manage individuals of all ages seeking employment support to meet their employment goals. · Identify client strengths and challenges as they relate to employability – Conduct standardized assessments to determine client interests, aptitudes and abilities on a one-to-one basis, where appropriate · Identify barriers to employment and assist clients to develop job readiness skills and job search strategies · Support participant with job retention strategies · Conduct outreach to community organizations to promote TRACKS Employment, develop quality partnerships and establish referral protocols. · Liaise with job developer, EO team, government departments and other social, employment and community agencies to coordinate services needed to facilitate client progress. · Enter accurate client data into the internal and external operating systems in a timely manner. · Maintain case notes and appropriate documentation regarding client progress.

Qualifications: |
Successful completion of a post secondary degree/diploma in a relevant field of study that may include, but is not limited to human or social services, psychology or sociology or a combination of related education and experience.
· Experience in a role providing career or vocation advising is an asset. · Experience working with labour market trends and information to assist in the development or career plans and labour market objectives. · Strong computer skills –able to operate Microsoft Office/365, and capacity to effectively use funder mandated systems · Proven communication skills (written and oral) and conflict resolution skills with the ability to work under pressure and respond effectively in difficult/sensitive situations. · Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities, flexibility required · Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team to achieve site targets. · Valid Drivers’ license and access to transportation required · Vulnerable Sector Check required upon hire
