Job Description

Qualifications:

Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment;

have a valid Social Insurance number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations;

Strong organizational and people skills;

Experience working with children in a variety of programs and settings;

Experience initiating and implementing a variety of youth programs;

Possess effective interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for working with the public;

Available June-August inclusive – hours include weekdays, weekends and evenings;

Able to provide an appropriate criminal reference check, vulnerable sector, upon hire.
