The Military Family Resource Centre Meaford Child Care is recruiting for a:
Summer Child Program Assistant Are you looking for a full-time job experience to try something new this summer? MFRC Meaford Child Care is offering a position to assist our excellent teachers in educating young minds. As a Summer Child Program Assistant, you will assist in team teaching toddlers and preschoolers within a classroom setting. Kick off the child’s day right with a warm greeting upon their arrival. Be involved in singing songs and story time. Ensure children follow proper hygiene and protocols. Perform vigorous cleaning measures that exceed licensing standards. Participate in running activities like arts & crafts. Go outside on walks, run around in the playground and be a crucial element of their safety everyday. Before you know it, time has flown and parents are there to pick them up at the end of a fulfilling day. What we give you: · Guaranteed full-time hours, 35 hours per week · $17.00/hour · Weekends! Qualifications: |
What we would like to see from you:
· Experience looking after children up to the age of 6 · The ability to obtain up-to-date immunization records, including COVID-19 vaccine · Vulnerable Sector Check · First Aid/CPR training · Outgoing personality suitable to teaching and caring for children · Must be 18 years of age to work at our Centre, up to age 30 and a citizen or permanent resident of Canada per the Canada Summer Jobs program |
