Job Description

The Kids Corner Supervisor is responsible for the overall direction, organization, and supervision of the Kid’s Corner programs. They supervise Kid’s Corner Attendants to ensure they are keeping kids engaged through fun and challenging activities. They provide a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for Attendant’s, children, and parents/members.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor activities, and games
  • Develops and supports in the facilitation of Kid’s Corner programming, activities and Après events
  • Maintains a healthy and safe environment for staff, children and members ensuring all policies and procedures are followed
  • Responsible for providing training, coaching, and performance management for Attendants
  • Ensures Attendants are engaged, always interacting with children, and building a positive relationship
  • Promotes Kid’s Après programs to members to increase participation
  • Maintains Kid’s Corner inventory and ordering of necessary supplies
  • Other duties as assigned


  • This role reports to the Manager of Membership Sales, Events and Services.

Terms of Reference

  • Saturday & Sundays starting December 27th, 2021 – March 20th, 2022, with extra hours during the Christmas and March Break. Training will take place the week before the start date. Kids Corner will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
  • Hours of operation for Kids Corner are Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Sunday and during holidays it will be open 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Wage: $18-$21 an hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All new and prospective employees shall be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to their start date, and any offer of employment shall be conditional upon the TSC receiving written confirmation of full vaccination.




  • Previous experience with children is required
  • Previous leadership experience is an asset
  • Valid First Aid Certification is required
  • Motivated, engaging and fun!
  • Efficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience in Jonas Software is considered an asset
