Job Title: Carpet/Broadloom Installer
Work Hours: Full-Time

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Wage: Earnings from $1,000.00 to $5,000.00 per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Duntroon, ON
Job Description:

 

 Carpet Installers must be able to measure spaces, prepare subfloors, and lay out, stretch, and secure new carpeting. Remove old flooring, cut materials to fit rooms precisely, and fasten underlayment.

Responsibilities

  • Site Preparation: Remove existing flooring, trim, and baseboards; clean, repair, and level the subfloor.
  • Material Estimation & Cutting: Measure room dimensions to calculate required materials, minimize waste, and cut carpet to specifications.
  • Installation: Roll out and cut padding/underlayment, then measure, cut, and seam carpeting.
  • Stretching & Securing: Use knee-kickers or power stretchers to pull the carpet taut and secure it using staples, tacks, or adhesives.
  • Finishing Touches: Install transitions and trims, vacuum, and dispose of construction debris.
  • Client Service: Consult with customers regarding carpet choices, lay out samples, and provide accurate project quotes.
Qualifications: Experienced Carpet/Broadloom Installer

The role requires significant physical stamina, heavy lifting, and the use of tools like power stretchers and seaming irons. Valid G license. Vehicle to transport materials to and from the jobsite.
