Job Description

The primary responsibility is safely transporting elementary school students from local schools to our indoor athletic facility in Collingwood using our passenger van.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with children, takes safety seriously and brings a positive attitude to work each day.

For individuals who enjoy sports and being active, there is also an opportunity to stay after the driving shift and assist with coaching and supervising children in our After School Phys-Ed program.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent, part-time afternoon work with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students from local elementary schools to All Around Athletics.
• Follow established student pickup, attendance and safety procedures.
• Ensure students are safely seated and properly secured.
• Maintain a positive, respectful and welcoming environment.
• Communicate with AAA staff regarding pickups, attendance and any concerns.
• Assist with youth sports activities and supervision (optional extended hours).

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Class F driver’s license, or willingness to obtain one before beginning driving duties.
• Must provide a clean driver’s abstract.
• Must provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Responsible, punctual and dependable.
• Friendly, patient and comfortable working with children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Previous experience transporting children is an asset but not required.
• Sports or coaching experience is an asset for those interested in extended hours
