 Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grill Cook to join our Harvey’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong focus on food safety, proper food handling, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. The Grill Cook will play a vital role in ensuring that all menu items are prepared efficiently and to the highest standards of quality at Harvey’s.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to recipes and customer specifications
  • Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and presentation standards
  • Handle food safely, adhering to sanitation and hygiene guidelines
  • Assist with meal preparation and food assembly as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of the grill station and surrounding work areas
  • Serve food promptly to guests
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages
  • Follow all safety procedures related to kitchen operations and food handling

Qualifications:

 
  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
