Restaurant Cook

Must be available evenings, weekends and Holidays

Hours vary from 7:00am to 9:00pm

Duties include:

• Food preparation
• Portioning
• Cooking
• Plating
• Inventory management and inventory control

Menu items include breakfasts, handhelds (sandwhiches & wraps), soups, entrees, desserts. Catering buffets menus for groups and schools as needed.

The Pine River Cafe and Public House is located at the Mansfield Outdoor Centre, 4km’s North of the town of Mansfield, Ontario in the Township of Mulmur. We are within a 20-minute commute of Creemore, Stayner, Everett, Alliston, Shelburne. The successful applicant will work out of our Main Lodge kitchen preparing orders for our table service restaurant, The Pine River Cafe & Public House.

• Must have a current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
• Knowledge of Public Health regulations
• Be able to provide consistent meals prepared to our spec sheets
• Ability to adapt to dietary needs and food allergies
• Maintain a clean working environment adhering to local health codes and industry best practices
• Assist other areas with cleaning as required
• Great time management skills
• Must have reliable transportation
