Event Details

May 31st – June 4th is National AccessAbility Week, a time to celebrate the invaluable contributions of Canadians with disabilities and recognize work being undertaken to remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion. We are excited to have Tracy Schmitt, a motivational speaker and author, who has climbed mountains in Nepal, captained tall ships and is a bronze medalist as a Paralympian athlete in alpine skiing celebrate National AccessAbility Week with us this year. We invite you to join us on Wednesday, June 2nd from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a free, virtual learning experience. Tracy will share her stories of lived experience to help participants gain insight to the reality of colleagues, and community members who are living with disabilities and the challenges they may encounter. This year’s theme for International Day of Persons with Disabilities is, Building Back Better, supporting a more inclusive, accessible and sustainable world post COVID19. Join us on June 2nd, where we may together explore how we may exceed uncertainty, embrace change and identify in our own ways we can be unstoppable too!
