Youth Job Connection: New program starts!

The Youth Job Connection program is designed to help people ages 15-29 who are not employed or in school to attain employment. If you are suitable and eligible for the program you attend 60 hours (usually done in 3-4 weeks, some individuals may attend up to 90 hours) of PAID in house workshops where you develop employability skills.

YJC offers paid hands-on workshops to:

• Discover the local job market
• Impress in an interview
• Get up to date training in health and safety
• Become a customer service expert

There is also job matching and paid job placements, with supports for participants, this means we may help pay for things like a bus pass, smart serve, first Aid & CPR training etc. We also have hiring incentives for employers that help them cover the cost of wages and training for new hires (that’s you!).
